(Last Update: 02.04.2024) For those visiting Paris as tourists RER It's an interesting topic in itself. This transportation system, which we can see as a part of the Paris metro, can actually be thought of as a mixture of the suburban train and the metro. paris metroIn a way, if , means city center, RER means suburban. However, sometimes it can be extremely fast and smart to go from one end to the other in the city using RER. That's why we're dedicating this article to this topic. In this article, we learn together information about when RER will be useful to us, how to use these trains, and what we need to pay attention to.

The meaning of the word RER Réseau Express Regional Yani Regional Express Network The French call this system, which everyone calls RER using their initials, as "EGGÖEĞĞThey pronounce it as " 🙂 Of course, we also pronounce it as "oopsoopsWe should say " but unfortunately this pronunciation is very difficult and difficult for everyone who does not speak French." komik Therefore, I would like to directly mention it as RER in my article. However, when talking about this with a French person, you have to hold back not to laugh and say, “oopsoops🙂 Don't mind me laughing, if you want to ask a French person where the RER is, you can say "rer", As English "bee bee bee", he/she will definitely not understand what you are talking about, he/she will definitely say "oopsoops" you should say...

A huge railway network of 33 kilometers in total, 257 kilometers of which goes underground, consisting of a total of 76,5 stations, 587 of which are in Paris. RER, which is all Ile-de-FranceAn amazing transportation system connecting Paris to Paris. This network does not belong entirely to RER, but some of it is owned by RER. commuter train It uses it in partnership with its network Transilien.

How should I describe this system? Consider that a much larger and faster railway system was established below Marmaray, which starts in Halkalı and ends in Tuzla, with stations only in Halkalı, Bakırköy, Sirkeci, Üsküdar, Bostancı, Kartal and Tuzla. RER is approximately for such a purpose. serves. It was built to cut through the center of Paris, from its furthest suburbs to other suburbs in the opposite direction. RER-A, RER-B, RER-C, RER-D ve RER-E named as 5 main lines It forms the main backbone of a system that has been implemented as a serious solution in transportation with a huge railway network with spare lines branching off at the ends. In a sense You can think of it as 5 Marmarays in Istanbul..

For someone traveling in the center of Paris, these trains may not be a means of transportation that will be used very often, but especially Charles de Gaulle Airport ve Orly AirportTo reach, Palace of Versailles, Disneyland ve La Vallee Village Outlet Center We need to learn how to use RER to go to places like.

RER ticket system in Paris city center, i.e. zones 1-2 metro Same as. Like the metro in this area 2,15€You can travel to; m in 1-2 zoneetroIt is possible to transfer from RER to the metro free of charge. but the third, fourth and fifth areasIf you are going to continue towards 's, you definitely need to buy a special fare ticket that selects the station you will get off at. Something like this about this warning I want to do. If you take any RER from the city center (which is technically possible) even though you have a city metro ticket in your hand, if you accidentally go out of the 1-2 zones where the ticket is valid, you will either receive a warning that your ticket is not valid at the turnstiles at the station where you will get off, or (worse) you will receive a warning that your ticket is not valid. You run the risk of unintentionally becoming guilty during the checks and paying a fine. So please be careful to travel with the correct ticket. Details about this Tickets and Transportation Cards You can find it in the article.

You can buy your tickets from vending machines at all stations. Some accept cash, some accept credit cards, and some accept both. MetroDon't throw away your ticket, as you only have to scan your ticket at the entrances, while on RER you often have to scan your ticket at the exit turnstiles...

And these trains, metroSometimes it can be a little more neglected than other places. Although the newly put into service two-storey air-conditioned wagons are very nice, I cannot say that transportation is very comfortable. Despite everything, the establishment of such an advanced transportation network deserves appreciation in itself...

If the stations are metromuch lower underground than; for that reason to the center of supply It may be necessary to travel a long way and the stations metroIt's a little less well-maintained than either. A part of this magnificent system, which was first put into service in 1977, was built until 2003 and is now expanding again, looks as if it has never been maintained again. Especially RER metro transfers between migration of tribes and the corridors can be unpleasant sometimes. Don't mind me criticizing it so much, I use this transportation network almost every day and I am very satisfied. After all, it is a great thing to have established such a large network; After that, it's just a matter of maintenance and cleaning; The guys are still busy extending and improving the lines. Nowadays Grand Paris within the scope of the project, a huge transportation network Grand Paris ExpressThe construction work of continues.

RER Paris Transportation Pariste.Net

The stations you will use most in Paris city center Châtelet – Les Halles, Charles de Gaulle Étoile, Auber, Invalides, Champs de Mars Tour Eiffel, Saint michel, Denfert–Rochereau ve Gare du Nord I think it will. Especially the Châtelet – Les Halles The station is mind blowing. It's a chaotic place these days, as it's both a giant building complex and has undergone a terrible renovation, but it's definitely an important connection point. There is a huge shopping and living center on it. Forum des Halles It is found. However, if you are good at reading signs and directional signs, it is unlikely that you will lose your bearings; I say trust yourself…

The most important thing to consider when finding your direction on the RERTo understand well which of the forked lines the train coming to the station will go towards. For this, you need to pay attention to the maps as well as the illuminated boards hanging at the stations showing which stations the train will stop at. Because even though the train on the platform will continue in the direction you want to go on the map, it may not stop at the station where you intend to get off; for that reason Before getting on the train, you should pay attention to the information on the illuminated panels.. Sometimes there may be last minute changes, so I recommend you to be very careful. And especially RER-B strikes and delays famous for RER-B in airport transportation A line you should use; That's why it's best to be cautious about airport transfers.

RER Paris Transportation Pariste.Net

RER-A and RER-B Paris MunicipalityWhile RER-C, RER-D and RER-E are directly managed by RATP, which is the equivalent of IETT in our country, RER-C, RER-D and RER-E are connected to RATP, which is the equivalent of our TCDD. SNCF'linked. You can immediately feel the difference between the trains, RATP trains are always better, but sometimes you can come across quite old trains. Sometimes very nicely decorated ones. The photo you see above Palace of VersaillesFor example, from a RER-C train going to… My favorite line is definitely RER-A. It is clean most of the time, and the passenger profile is generally above average.

If you are going to use the RER extensively during your trip to Paris, transportation can be expensive, so buying a daily Mobilis ticket may be useful, but a weekly pass for those whose arrival and departure dates to Paris match. Navigo Card I recommend you to get it.

For someone like me, who, while living in Istanbul, took the car from his home in Kadıköy to go to Rumelihisarı for breakfast on Saturday mornings and was not lazy to have his afternoon coffee at Pendik Marina. Paris Metro and RER is a great convenience. Parisians say distances more than half an hour are far, but as an Istanbulite, I say distances more than an hour are close. It's a little bit about how you look at life. So don't hesitate, use Paris' amazing transportation network to easily reach anywhere you want to see.

Oh, and lastly, I should add this information: Already You don't need anyone, including me, to discover how to get from one place to another in Paris and its surroundings. When you type the addresses of departure and arrival points into the map application on your mobile phone, it offers you the most suitable options according to that day and time. Of course, don't do everything the application tells you. Those who study Pariste.Net and study well can easily find which one is the most ideal among the options offered.. But I beg you, don't ask me either; Because when you ask me, I go into those applications and look; It is not possible for me to know every place by heart. 😉

Pleasant trips, pleasant discoveries…

  1. Hello Mr. Ahmet, from Paris Nord station.
How can I reach 15 Rue Pascal? How can I get to the Maison de la Mutualité fairground from there? Thank you.

    • Ahmet Ore Reply

Hello Ms. Defne, actually you don't need anyone, including me, to tell you how to get from one place to another in Paris. When you write your departure and arrival points into Google Maps, Google Maps tells you which means of transportation will be available at that moment, depending on the time of day. Now I will answer your question by looking at Google Maps. You can take a look if you wish, if you can't find it then it would be better for me to answer. I wish you a nice trip in advance.

Working hours vary depending on the line number, day of the week, station you board from, and direction you travel. You can find the most up-to-date and accurate information on the official website according to these criteria: https://www.ratp.fr/en/horaires-rer

  2. Hello Mr. Ahmet,
We are coming to the fair in large numbers from work.
We will stay in Aulnay Sabua. What transportation would you recommend me to take to travel from here to Lafayette and Cahmp Elyess in one day and to return?
I want to go to Eifell the next day, how can I go and come back?
Also, we are coming in a big crowd, we are going to the park des expositions for the fair from Tuesday to Friday, which card should we get?
    Thank you from now

      Hello Ms. Azize,
I have an article on the blog about the fair center you will go to: https://www.pariste.net/villepinte-fuar-merkezi-parc-des-expositions/
As you can see, your station will be Parc des Expositions. There are two stops by RER to the hotel where you will stay, but of course, the exact location of your hotel and which hall you will be in at the fair are important in terms of transportation to the RER station. Getting to the city center is also very easy with RER-B. You can get into the center of life by taking the RER-B and getting off at Châtelet, Saint Michel Notre Dame or Luxembourg stations.
You can see how you can visit Paris in a limited time by reading my article Paris in a Day: https://www.pariste.net/tur-programi-onerileri-iv-bir-gunde-paris/
Have fun fairs and good trips in advance.

  3. Hello Mr. Ahmet,
Your resources were really useful before our trip. Thank you very much for sharing your experiences and suggestions with us.
We will tour many important points in Paris. However, there are some places we want to visit freely. We will have 2 days for this.
What do you think about our planning?
If we start from the Eiffel Tower point, which means of transportation can we provide the transportation network in the easiest and fastest way?
    Places we want to see in 2 days;
Luxembourg Gardens + Notre Dame Cathedral + Montarte (Place du Tertre on the Hill of Painters) + Sacré-cœur Basilica
I believe that 2 Carnet tickets will be enough for 10 days. I have done a lot of research on transportation, I would like to make sure by asking you. This carnet is valid for all means of transportation, right?

Thank you in advance for your comments.
    Love to Paris and you..

  4. Hello Mr. Ahmet,
Everything on your page is very detailed, thank you very much for your effort. I will come to Montpelliere from Turkey on February 2nd. On February 6, I will come to Paris by train from Montepellier. The hotel where I will stay is very close to Gare Del Est train station. Returning to Turkey will be with THY from CDG airport on Tuesday, February 11th. My flight time is 12:50. What I want to ask you is the most convenient and easiest way to go from Gare Del Est to CDG airport. Could you help me with this? Thank you.

      Hello Mr. Gurkan,
First of all, thank you very much.
After taking the RER-B from CDG Airport and getting off at Gare du Nord, you can reach Gare de l'Est with a 300-500 meter walk.
      Happy Days.

  5. Mr. Ahmet, first of all, thank you very much for your efforts. As someone who has been reading your articles about Paris for 2 years, we will finally come to Paris on January 24th. Atlas Airlines will land at T2. We are planning to go to the hotel by RER B from there. We read your article on where to stay in Paris and made the hotel reservation from Hôtel Ibis Styles Paris Mairie de Clichy. Address 14 rue Dagobert, 92110 Clichy France. At which station should we get off via RER? It looks like we won't be able to use the Navigo card since we will be staying from noon on Friday to noon on Monday. We would like to follow your 3 nights and 4 days route in Paris. Which stations should we use, especially on the first day? Thanks.

      Hello Mr. Cemil,
First of all, thank you very much.
Getting to your hotel from the airport is a bit complicated, you have to make a lot of transfers. Let me explain in order:
You take the RER-B from CDG and get off at Gare du Nord. From there you take the M4 metro and get off one station later at Barbes Rochechouart.
From here you take the M2 metro and get off at Place de Clichy, from there you take the M13 Metro (it is important that it is in the Asnieres Gennevilliers les Courtilles direction) and get off at Marie de Clichy and walk to the hotel.
You can view this by entering address information on Google Maps and see the details and other options.
Your line will be the M13 metro and that metro passes through the Champs-Elysees. That's why you can easily plan your first day.
Have a nice holiday in advance.

  6. Hello Mr. Ahmet, we will be in Paris on July 13th and you said that there will be maintenance on the RER going to Disneyland. In this case, how can we reach our hotel in Champ Elysees? I also want to buy a ticket for Disneyland. Two parks in one day are ok, but what do the colors mean? In the calendar section So 15 july and blue color? Might it not be available on the date I buy the ticket? Thanks a lot…

    • Ahmet Ore Reply

      Hello,
There are many metro stations on the Champs-Elysées, so transportation alternatives vary depending on location, but in summary, I recommend finding the M1 metro closest to you, taking the metro from there, and getting off at the last stop, Château de Vincennes. From here, you can walk a little to reach the RER-A Vincennes station and catch the trains to Disneyland from there.
If you write your departure and arrival point in the Google Maps application or on the website near your arrival, it will tell you the ideal route.
The meaning and valid dates of each shade of blue regarding Disneyland ticket purchases are different. Unfortunately, there is no time to review the calendar right now. The details on this subject are https://www.pariste.net/en-hesapli-disneyland-bileti-nasil-alinir-online-disneyland-bileti-hakkinda-her-sey/ You can find it in the article at the link.
      Happy Days.

    Hello Mr. Ahmet,
We are a family of 4 and we planned to stay in Paris for 4 days. As far as I remember from your articles, Navigo is the most suitable for us. Today we want to go to Notre Dam first and then to the Eifel tower. We would be very happy if you could help us with transportation. Also, is there any suitable and clean place in Paris where we can eat something, close to the places I just mentioned? Is there anything you must eat in Paris? Thank you very much.

    • Ahmet Ore Reply

      Hello,
I'm sure you've also read my Navigo article. As I said there, the dates of your arrival and departure are important for Navigo to be economical. If it suits you, of course you will be very comfortable with Navigo.
Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower are on the same RER line (RER-C), so they are very easy to reach.
You can find plenty of options for eating and drinking around Saint Michel.
I didn't know what to say about the food, there is so much. If you want to try interesting things, you should definitely try things like snails, frog legs or mussels, etc.
      happy holidays

      Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no more practical solution for you in terms of public transportation than RER.
Otherwise, the most practical and comfortable transportation option is of course options such as the Paris Minibus, but if you want it to be cheap, you will have to choose RER.
Hope you have a nice day in Paris…

  9. Hello Mr. Ahmet,
First of all, I would like to thank everyone for your useful articles. I will go to Paris for business, but of course I would like to see the city center and at least the Eiffel area while I am there. For this reason, I learned from your articles and other sites that I will travel from CDG with RER B and change to the Metro at the Saint Michel-Notre Dame stop.
The worst part is that the hotel where I will stay is close to the airport and is in ZONE 5. So, I will return again in the evening by metro and RER B. At this point I have two questions,
1- Is there a transfer when going to the metro with the RER B ticket I bought for 10.33 EUR? Can I buy a metro ticket and use it on RER B on the way back?
2-A suitable pass card etc. that you can recommend for this journey. Is it available?

    • Ahmet Ore Reply

      Hello,
First of all, thank you very much. Let me answer in order as follows:
1- I think you will only visit for one day. The most hassle-free option is to buy a 1-1 zone Paris Visite Pass for 5 day. It is taken from all machines. See: https://www.pariste.net/pariste-ulasim-16-turistik-kartlar-2-paris-visite-pass/
2- RER and/or metro transfer is possible unless you leave the turnstile with a normal ticket. If you buy a Paris Visite Pass, you do not need to make a transfer calculation.
3- I think RER is available until 23:30 at night.
4- Unfortunately, I don't know since I almost never use Uber.
      Happy Days.

    Hello Mr. Ahmet;
After I decided to plan a holiday in France, I started to follow your site with interest. What you give is a life saver! Thanks very much for the information. I plan to come to Paris on 01/07/2018 and go to Strasbourg on 04/07/2018. I will come to Orly West from Istanbul. My hotel is 1 street behind Saint Michel Notre Dame station. What route should I take to get from Orly? I'm planning to buy a weekly Navigo Decouvere card, but the day I arrive is on a Sunday, so I won't be able to buy it that day. Can you recommend a place in the city center where I can buy a card on Monday? Finally, to go to Strasbourg, I understand that I need to go to Gare De L'est. What route should I follow to reach the station from Saint Michel Notre Dame station?

    • Ahmet Ore Reply

      Hello Mr. Oğuzhan,
At first, thank you for your interest.
As you said, you cannot get a Navigo card on the day you arrive, or rather, if you buy it and recharge it for a day, then recharge it for a week on Monday, you will be paying unnecessarily.
If you will always stay in Paris during your trip to Paris, that is, if you will be in zone 1-2, then I recommend that you buy a single ticket from Orly on the first day, take the OrlyBus and go down to the city center, and then buy 10 Carnet tickets in Paris and use these tickets in the city. But if you are going to go to a lot of places and the places you will visit are outside of Paris (Disneyland, Versailles, etc.), then of course Navigo may be ideal. If you are going to travel a lot on the first day, you can upload a day to Navigo on Sunday. This completely depends on the intensity of your travel program.
When it comes to transportation, you don't need anyone including me. When you write your departure and arrival points on Google Maps, Google tells you which means of transportation you should use.
      Happy Days.

You can take bus number 24 in front of the hotel to nearby Bercy Village and from there reach the center by M14 metro. See: https://www.pariste.net/bercy-village/

  13. Hello. There is a possibility that I can study in France, but right now I'm just asking out of curiosity, I hope you can answer. How can I go from Amiens to Paris? I would be very happy if you could explain it to me.

  14. Hello Mr. Ahmet,

We have not arrived yet, we will be there during the holiday, but with the information I have received from you, I am sure we will have a problem-free holiday. What I want to ask is that our hotel is right next to Saint Michel Notre Dame, where the RER-B and RER-C stations are located. You said that you went to Disneyland by RER-A. How will we transition to RER-A? Do you think it will be a difficult journey because we have a small child with us? We will try different alternatives accordingly. Thank you in advance.

    • Hello, first of all, thank you very much for your interest and valuable comment.
All you have to do is take the RER-B from Saint Michel, get off at Chatelet les Halles one stop later, and transfer from there (without leaving the turnstiles) to the RER-A trains heading towards Disneyland. There are escalators and disabled elevators at these stations, but of course it is a bit winding. However, I believe that you can transfer without any problems and reach Disneyland easily. For this, it is enough to have a ticket or transportation card for zones 1-5.
Have a nice holiday in advance.

  15. Hello Mr. Ahmet,

"Important Note: Between 23 July and 21 August, RER-A will not operate between La Défense – Nation due to maintenance works." you wrote. Does this affect travel from Charles de Gaulle Étoile to Disneyland? If so, how can we get to Disneyland?

    • Hello Mr. Koray,
Yes, those who will go to Disneyland during this period need to reach the Nation first from where it is located. Those who are on the RER-A line can use Metro 1 until this point.
Happy days, and happy holidays in advance.

    • I just saw that you explained it in the Disneyland article.

"Important Note: Since RER-A will not operate between La Défense and Nation between 23 July - 21 August 2016 due to general maintenance, if your Disneyland trip falls within this date range and you want to go to Disneyland from Paris center with RER-A, you must first reach Nation and "You need to start your journey from here. Because RER-A's La Défense, Charles de Gaulle Etoile, Auber, Châtelet – Les Halles and Gare de Lyon stations will be closed during this period."

  16. Hello, I took a connecting flight in Paris. I want to see the Eiffel Tower in 10 hours of transfer time. My flight with CDG landing and takeoff. At which station should I get off at RERB and continue on my way? And how should I make the return? How long will my transfer time be enough for me to spend in Eiffel? Thank you from now…

    • Hello,
To go to Eiffel from CDG, all you have to do is get off the RER-B at the Saint Michel Notre Dame station, transfer from there, take the RER-C and get off at the Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel stop. If you are going to go to the Eiffel, the time you spend there depends entirely on the length of the queue. Even if you are not going out and want to do other things, I recommend you read my article Paris in a Day: https://www.pariste.net/tur-programi-onerileri-iv-bir-gunde-paris/ Your 10-hour transfer time is enough to do most of the suggestions in the article in this link. As long as you are close to any RER-B station 2-2,5 hours before your transfer flight (unless you are giving luggage)…
Have a nice trip in advance.

    • Hello,
For this on RATP's page http://www.ratp.fr/tarifs/?theme=ratp The ticket price is shown according to the distance you will travel from the link. I looked for you, but the link is not working right now, so it is not possible for me to know it by heart, but since Evry is located in the 5th zone, I estimate it should be around 10€, although it varies depending on the first stop you take the train from.

First of all, thank you very much for your beautiful explanation and Turkish. You have prepared a very nice blog. The subject I am curious about is the Navigo decouverte card, which I learned from your articles in CDG. You stated that we can buy it from the vending machines or toll booths at the RER station entrances. Until what time are these toll booths open in the evenings? Because I think we will be there around 22.00 in the evening. Thank you very much.

    • Hello Mr. Kamil,
First of all, thank you very much for your valuable comment.
Frankly, I'm not exactly sure what time the RER station toll booths at CDG are open. According to my research on the internet, it seems to be open until 22:00 in the evening, but I never went and tested it. I think you will need to buy a normal RER ticket instead of Navigo for the first transportation when you arrive. However, I would appreciate it if you find the box office open when you arrive and inform us. When I come to those places, I will ask personally and try to update the time information. I wish you safe travels and happy holidays.

We found it, we bought our one-week 'navigo decouverte' cards for 26,5 € per person, as we learned from your articles, we pasted the photos using the scissors we took with us and spent 5 days at the airport-hotel, Disneyland twice, and Metro at least thirty or forty times, without making any other payments. We completed our trip using . By the way, when we asked the closing time of the RER box office in CDG, the lady in charge answered 'Midnight', from which I deduced the meaning of 24.00 at night. Again, in the light of your information, we took the Monmartrobus departing from Pigale to Monmart, from Gare du Nord. We took our City Tour with bus number 42. Thank you very much for the information you provided.

  17. Greetings
I have a flight to Toronto via CDG on February 26th, first from Istanbul to Paris (Atlas jet) and then to Toronto (Air France). Atlas jet will land at terminal 3. However, the departure place of the Air France plane is terminal 2E and the time difference between the landing and take-off times between these two planes is only one hour. Arrival in Paris is 12:40 and departure is 13.45. My friends working at Ataturk airport told me that it was impossible for me to catch the other flight in that time (it is said that it took about 55 minutes) (if so, how do these companies sell tickets in such a short time interval). However, when I contacted the internet company from which I purchased the ticket, they said that there would be no problem with the time. But I was completely confused. The issue I want you to help me with is how long the average time is between terminal 3 and terminal 2E. Since this will be my first experience abroad, I will be extremely nervous at the airport, even though the directions are said to be successful. Thank you in advance.
    Have a nice day

    • Greetings
I don't want to mislead you as I haven't had a connecting flight in a long time, but as far as I know, although there seems to be a 50-minute delay between both terminals, you are flying with two different companies, which means you have to collect your luggage in Paris, check-in again for your flight to Canada, and hand over your luggage. I guess this is impossible in this amount of time. Let's say you're not going to check in your luggage, if the first flight is delayed even 15 minutes, you won't be able to catch the next flight. Although I think you can't keep up with it even as it is; Even if it wasn't an intercontinental flight, I think you took a big risk. If you have the chance to change your ticket, I recommend you do so. Of course, it would still be better to get confirmation from other places.
I hope you can handle it without any problems.
      Have a nice day

  18. Greetings
I have a flight from Paris Beavuvais airport to Spain on the 26th of the month. I live in Lille. How can I reach Beavuvais from Lille in the easiest and cheapest way?
I found a direct bus from Lille to CDG airport, 9e. How can I get to Beauvais from CDG airport? I would be very happy if you help me.
    have a nice day

    • Hello,
For the cheapest way, I recommend taking a public bus into the city. If you take bus number 351 from the airport, this bus will take you to Nation. From here, you can reach Porte Maillot by taking metro number 1. The only way - that I know of - to go to Beauvais from the city center by public transportation is via private shuttles departing from Porte Maillot... In fact, you can also try your luck by going to blablacar.com and finding a car from Lille or CDG to Beauvais.

  19. Hello Mr. Ahmet,
The easiest way to get to Disleyland from Charle de Gaulle metro station. How much are RER A ticket prices? Thanks.

    • Hello Mr. Serdar
If you mean Charles de Gaulle-Etoile station, you can go directly with RER-A (7,60€).
If you mean Charles de Gaulle airport, first take RER-B and get off at Chatelet Les Halles, then take RER-A and get off at Disneyland (€17,05).

    • Hello,
First you need to take the RER-B from CDG, you will get off at St Michel-Notre Dame station, then you will change to RER-C and get off at Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel station. Since the trains stop at different stations at different times, the journey time is not fixed, but I think it may take between 40 minutes and 70 minutes.

  20. How do we go from Disenyland to Paris Center (Eiffel) and how can we return?

    • All you have to do is take the RER-A and get off at Étoile, then take metro number 6 and get off at the Trocadero or Bir-Hakeim stop. You can reach it with a single ticket.

  21. Have a nice day
Can you give information about the return? The flight is at 7.35 and I may have to be there overnight. How long do the metro and trains operate?
    Best regards

    • Hello there,
In order to give a clear answer to your question, I need to know which airport you will go to on which date and which station your hotel is close to. Because the first and last train time of each line varies depending on the line number and station, and of course depending on whether it is a holiday or not...
Theoretically, we can say that there is no service between 01:00 at night and 06:00 in the morning, but as I said, this is a variable situation. Maybe I will have to recommend "night buses" to you. Therefore, I can help you more easily if I can get date, airport and hotel location information.
      thanks

  22. Hello Mr. Ahmet,

I did some research on the net about transportation from Paris CHDG Airport to Gare du Nord by RER-B. But I'm confused about something.
Our plane lands at CHDG airport Terminal 1. Do we need to go to Terminal 3 to board RER-B or can we also board RER-B from Terminal 1?

    thanks…

    • There are two RER stations at CDG airport, one for terminal 2 and the other for terminal 1-3, so you will follow the arrows of terminal 1-3 station and get on from there. If you accidentally lose your way and go to Terminal 2, don't worry, there is an RER station there too.
      happy holidays

    • merhaba
I haven't flown from Terminal 1 for a long time, I don't want to mislead you because the situation may change depending on which gate the plane arrives at. Follow the RER arrows, if the road takes you to the CDGVAL free train, get on it, it will take you to RER, don't worry, the directions are very successful.

    • Thank you very much, Mr. Ahmet.

I understand that we can reach the RER-B station by following the arrows directly from Terminal 1 without the need for any shuttle.

      Good evening.
