In response to the many questions I received after the January 7, 2015 Charlie Hebdo attack, it became inevitable for me to write an article on the latest situations and security issues in Paris. Instead of evaluating the events in the heat of the moment, I thought it appropriate to wait for some time to pass and during this time, I tried to calmly understand what was going on. I had lunch with my French exchange friend Franz on January 7, the day of the attack.
