(Last Update: 04.05.2023) For me, another church in Paris that is at least as valuable as Notre Dame Cathedral and Sacré Coeur Basilica is the Madeleine Church. This building reminds us of the famous Acropolis in Athens due to its architectural style. Madeleine, whose construction started in 1763 and opened in 1842, is a very flamboyant building with its magnificent columns all around, its triangular pedimented roof layout, its location in the middle of the square and its interior design.
