(Last Update: 06.01.2026) When I first moved to Paris in March 2012, one of the strangest things was that although there were many beautiful coastal areas along the Seine River, Parisians did not take advantage of these beauties. No matter how much I talked or said, my words must have reached the ears of the authorities, and as the years went by, the banks of the Seine began to become more active, beautiful places opened up and life started to come to life.
