(Last Update: 09.01.2026) The biggest longing of an Istanbulite living in Paris is not being able to eat or drink while overlooking the Bosphorus and not being able to chat with friends. I have passed through the Bosphorus and the sea, I am even willing to sit by the water and eat and drink something, but there is no such culture of life in Paris, as in almost all of Europe. I think cities built on river banks are protected against possible floods.
