(Last Update: 11.01.2026) Going to a Turkish restaurant in Paris You may have several reasons for this: Either you cannot eat anything other than Turkish food wherever you are, or you have to be careful about what you eat due to your beliefs, or you may crave Turkish food from time to time because you live abroad. If you want to go to a Turkish restaurant in Paris, for whatever reason, this is one of the restaurants I can recommend to you. Seç Restaurant It will be.
I first came across Seç Restaurant by chance. One of my favorite things to do in Paris from the metro or from the bus While walking around the streets of the city, getting off, diving into any street and getting lost, Montmartre Hillof and Sacre Coeur Churchon the back side of Rue Ordoner I remember making a small show of joy when I suddenly came across this restaurant. From what it looked like from the outside, it had the feel of a real restaurant, beyond those typical cheesy Turkish fast food restaurants in Paris, and I had to try this place at the first opportunity. My first experience was on a Friday evening in July 2014...
When you enter the door, a very friendly team greets you. The inside is not as attractive as it seems, it looks a little older and a little more modest. I was extra happy when the waiter who welcomed us seated us in the far left corner, in front of the window. I would be able to have a delicious dinner while looking around. Luckily for us, the service the sweetiest of the world A little girl did it. How talkative, how cheerful. The Turkish he spoke with a French accent was very cute. The service was extremely sincere and sincere. That's why I felt like I was a guest.
As I always say; I don't claim to be a gourmet, so I'm not going to rant about food. In summary, what I ate and drank made me happy, it was delicious enough. Oh, it would be nice if I could eat künefe instead of kadayıf :)
This is an extremely modest place and meets expectations in terms of price-service-taste balance. Naturally, it is not easy to capture the taste of Turkish food abroad. Even if you cook with all your mastery, the ingredients you use are not 100% Turkish and may still be missing somewhere. But since we are people who try to see the glass half full, we naturally had an enjoyable dinner here.
Prices are actually reasonable. If you buy Entree+Main Meal or Main Dish+Dessert, you pay a similar price to any restaurant in Paris. But if you get excited like us and try to decorate the table saying "oh, there's this too, oh there's that too, oh, let's taste this too", well, the price you'll pay goes up a bit. After all, every tiny plate writes money in euros, just like a taximeter. :)
Seç Restaurant also has an interesting feature: If you don't have time to sit down for a long meal, it's right in the back street - which is a style I don't prefer. fast food section is also available. I was very surprised to see that there was a passage through the restaurant, but ultimately it was a smart initiative to appeal to all types of customers :)
Seç Restaurant operates four restaurants in Paris. We are 18. boroughSince we tried the one in , I am only writing about it in this article. Since I haven't been to Seç Restaurant in the 17th Arrondissement, I haven't been able to write about it yet, but as far as I understand, it is located in Saint George.
