(Last Update: 05.09.2024) While Paris has so many beautiful boulevards, avenues and streets, one wonders which one to write about. Of course, some of these stand out a little more with some of their features. Some of them are centers of luxury shopping, some are the center of attention of young people, some are important from a touristic point of view, and some are the address of eating and drinking. Even though some of them are not very big, they have a different atmosphere that surrounds you with a completely different energy the moment you enter. We are on one of such streets in this article: Rue de Buci (dream exchange or breast fight)
Now, when I write like this, I don't want to put you in high expectations, but whenever I pass by here, I feel the energy in the environment; Otherwise, it is not such a big street. Sometimes it may even seem ordinary when you pass by, but when 6. boroughIf I go to Saint Germain, I have made it a habit to pass through this street.
Rue de Buci Boulevard Saint Germainin Mabillon Odeon between, Seine River It is located on the side, on a rear parallel. most people Boulevard Saint Germainto the Les Deux Magots ve Flore's coffeeSince he focuses on , he may miss the streets behind, but you are on the right track since you are one of those who do not miss the beauties of Paris that are actually in plain sight and can be discovered when you get out of your routine a little.
One entrance to the street Mabillonfamous mussel restaurant in LeonRight across from . Here I am OdeonWhen I come to Istanbul by metro, my favorite passage is Cour du Commerce Saint AndréI like to reach it by passing through and turning left after exiting the back. If you cross the tiny intersection just two steps away, you are at the beginning of Rue de Buci.
As soon as you enter the street, there are other cafes, restaurants, patisseries, bookstores on the left and right. I especially love browsing through the second-hand books that the bookstore on the right puts in front of its window. And again on the right, Maison Thevenin There is a cute patisserie called , where you can find many different types of French desserts. Every time I go, I feel obliged to break my diet and buy a dessert from there; It's a dangerous area :)
Now choose one of the cafes and restaurants or just walk by; In good weather, watch people spilling out onto the streets, eating and drinking, and in cold weather, watch people sitting under heating systems and smoking cigarettes. People are crazy; Even when the weather is very cold, there is always someone sitting outside. In some periods, heaters may be turned off to save electricity. If you go and stay in the cold, don't take it from me 😉
There is a Paul just ahead, in the corner on the left; I went there once, you can sit there if it's not too crowded, but in the corner right across from it Market Bar There is a small brasserie full of life, which I love there very much. And on this street Café de ParisI'm not against it, but it's always in the background :)
Actually L'Atlas Restaurant It's not bad either, but I don't like their waiters very much, and I've been protesting against them ever since they bought the flower shop you see in the photo above and added it to the restaurant, spoiling the atmosphere of the street...
As you walk further down the street, the road curves to the left and begins to move away from the pedestrian atmosphere. There are nice places on your left, where you can sit, almost as if you were standing, have a drink in the middle of the street and watch people pass by. At the end of the road Boulevard Saint Germainin mabillion station and on the opposite side LeonYou will already see. After this point, if you wish, you can turn right and Saint Germain des Près You can walk to the side, or turn left if you wish. Odeon ve Saint michel You can continue to the side.
Or just across the road Leoncontinue next to Marché Saint GermainIt might be nice to visit . If you walk towards his left side Odéon Theater, even if you walk towards the right side Saint Sulpice ChurchYou will reach . If you continue straight and go to the back French SenateYou will see . Already Luxembourg GardenYou will come to the bottom of . Paris is such a place; Once you step out onto the street, you lose yourself as you walk from place to place and get lost in the beauties of Paris.
The easiest way to get to Rue de Buci by public transport M4 or M10 metro coming to Odéon using one of the lines, and then as I mentioned at the beginning of the article Cour du Commerce Saint AndréPass through and turn left at the exit. So whatever you do Boulevard Saint GermainOn the day you visit, I suggest you do not miss this small back street where life flows with all its liveliness.
Pleasant trips, pleasant discoveries.

We went on a 5-day trip to Paris with my wife in November. We benefited a lot from your blog while planning this trip. Thank you for your nice and useful shares. Paris really impressed us. We want to visit again at the first opportunity.
Thank you very much Ms. Tülay,
Your thoughts and opinions are very valuable to me.
Paris will be waiting for you again.
Happy Days.
Thank you very much. Yes, I have a book idea in my mind, but I am designing something a little different than a blog. Let's see, 2015 or 2016 at the latest is among my goals. Thank you very much for your kind thoughts.
Do not be intimidated about the metro, as I have tried to point out in articles about transportation, you find the relevant station on the map to reach your destination, and then you find your way in the direction that shows the last station of that line according to its color and line number. It's normal to go in the wrong direction once or twice, then you'll get used to it quickly, so don't worry.
I also ask you, if you share Pariste.Net or the articles you like on your social media accounts, it will be beneficial for them to reach more people and will be a morale boost for me.
Have a nice holiday in advance.
Hello, I haven't been able to finish reading and reading the site for ten days. My advice is that you compile all of what you have written in a book in the same way. We will be there as a family (me, my wife and my two children) between July 31st and August 3rd, inshallah. My wife is a shopping lover and I am a sightseeing lover. My biggest concern about Paris is transportation. The more I read, the more confused I became. Is transportation really scary? good work (I read English but I can't speak it :)))
It is at the top of the list of countries I want to see in my life. ..One day, definitely 🙂 Sibel
I hope that suitable conditions will arise as soon as possible to see it at the first opportunity. Paris is eagerly waiting for you…
