Although there are many ways to come to Paris, considering that the majority of followers of this blog are from Turkey, it is obvious that the first method to be preferred will be "airline". That's why in this article we will tell you Orly Airport, the second largest airport in Paris I will try to help you on how to transfer between Paris and Paris city center.
If you are flying from Turkey, your plane Charles de Gaulle AirportIt will land at or Orly Airport. Actually, it's quite far from the city. Beauvais Airport There are also but only there low cost airlines use it. What should you do if your plane lands at Orly Airport; Let's talk about them a little:
Orly Airport formerly Orly Sud (orli milk or son milk) and Orly Ouest (orli vest or boy vest) consisted of two terminals, but as of March 2019, the names have changed. Now Orly Airport consists of four terminals: Orly 1, Orly 2, Orly 3 and Orly 4. You can think of Orly 1-2-3 as the old Orly Ouest and Orly 4 as the old Orly Sud. If you are coming to Paris with Pegasus, Pegasus operates all its flights via Orly Airport and the landing terminal appears as Orly 4. Of course, it is not possible for me to follow the latest terminal changes, so please do not forget to pay attention to the terminal details when reading your ticket information...
Here Charles de Gaulle AirportSince it is a bit more reasonable in size than , walking distances are not terrible. Still between terminals OrlyVal called automatic rail system available, I will talk about this a little later.
After passing passport control, you will come to the area where you will receive your luggage. While waiting for the suitcase here, it's quite small. Duty FreeYou can look at it, but I can't say it's very satisfactory. Instead of wasting time here, you can shop in the center of Paris for perfume, cosmetics, bags, glasses and accessories. Benlux Duty FreeI can recommend .
And now you have arrived at the passenger reception area… Okay. What are the other transportation options between Orly Airport and Paris city center? Depending on your budget and time, you have several options to get from Orly Airport to Paris city center: M14 Metro, OrlyVal ve OrlyBus You can use public transportation options such as or directly taksi hold or private chauffeured car service You can take it and go to the city. Actually it's normal municipal bus ve tram There is also an option, but unless your budget is very, very limited, I do not recommend it; because it takes quite a long time and is a bit troublesome. And for those who come at midnight or early in the morning and want to go to the center by public transportation. night bus Of course there is. Now let me try to give information about these options one by one:
1- Metro (M14)
The dream of years finally came true and Orly Airport was connected to Paris city center with the M24 line as of June 2024, 14. Therefore, now The most ideal way to get to Paris city center by public transportation is, of course, the M14 metro.. Especially in the city center with this metro Gare de Lyon, Châtelet ve Gare Saint LazareIt is very easy to reach. So what The transportation fee of this metro is more expensive than the normal ticket: Normally, you can reach everywhere the metro goes in Paris with a city ticket, but the ticket price for Orly Airport transportation is tam 10,30 €, reduced 9,40€. If If you have a Daily or Weekly Navigo card, you can ride with your card without paying any additional fee.. You can buy your Navigo card from the teller at the metro station entrance. Navigo Easy machines are sold, it is possible to go to the center with them, but I recommend you to buy Weekly Navigo. More about Navigo Card information in the article at this link You can read.
The metro station is located between terminal Orly 4 and terminal Orly 3. Generally, Pegasus flights depart from Orly 4 terminal (of course, you can still get updated information from your airline). After you get off the plane and exit the passenger reception door, go out and walk a little to the left, you can find the metro entrance. Video of this route What I did on July 10, 2024 in this link From Instagram live broadcast video You can watch and learn.
2- OrlyVal
Free between Orly Airport terminals space shuttle This railway system that provides service can actually be thought of as a small train. It does not have a machinist, it works completely automatically. As I said, between terminals OrlyVal You can transfer free of charge via you RER You need to buy a special ticket to reach Antony station, which will connect to the line.. OrlyVal one way ticket price 11,30€. Antony from Orly Airport RER You can reach the station in about 5-6 minutes and from there RER-B It is possible to continue to any point you want via the line. Since Antony is in the 3rd zone, you need to calculate that ticket pricing will be accordingly. If you wish, first of all You can reach the center of Paris with a single ticket by paying €14,50 for the Orly-Paris combined ticket.. You can find detailed information about which ticket you should choose for transportation in Paris. in this link You can find it in my article. After the M14 metro is opened, OrlyVal will not be as important an option as before, but we will leave this information here in case it may be useful to someone.
2- OrlyBus
Like OrlyVal, it takes you from the airport to a RER This bus that takes you to the connection is actually the public bus you know But the inside looks a little different due to the specially designed sections for placing suitcases. In crowded times, these luggage compartments are never enough And if you have big luggage, it can cause trouble. Still, it's an affordable place in the city centre. metro - RER It is a practical solution to get you to the point. One-way ticket price is 11,50€, if you top up your Navigo Easy card then you pay 11,30€. Buy your ticket right outside the airport. from the box office on platform three Or you can get it from the bus driver. Since this ticket is a special tariff, it is not valid for later transfers. If you wish, you can order directly without having to deal with the toll booth or vending machine. By scanning your credit card into the machine on the bus You can also benefit from this bus, but then I don't know what price you pay. if Navigo If you have a card, you do not pay extra to take this bus. If you don't have it and want to get it, You can get it from the box office at the bus stop in Orly 4 terminal. If you landed at a terminal other than Orly 4, you can walk or follow the arrows to reach Orly 4. OrlyValYou can get on for free and reach Orly 4 terminal. From Orly 1-2-3 to Orly 4 OrlyVal How to reach with from this link You can watch. Good news for those using the current version of iPhone or Android: You do not need to buy Navigo physically, you can also buy it from your mobile phone. For this Navigo writing It will be very useful for you to read… Same way Paris Visite It is free to ride this bus with your ticket. Likewise, after the M14 metro is opened, OrlyVal will not be as important an option as before, but let's leave this information here in case it may be useful to someone.
3- Taksi and Private Chauffeur-driven Vehicle Service
Well, of course, taxi is a much more comfortable solution; After all, even if you have to wait in line for a while, you get in the car and go to the address you want. The handicap here language problem it could be; After all, their English may not be very good or your foreign language may not be sufficient anyway. However, once you give the address, they will definitely take you to your accommodation more easily. Here too path extension tricks It's not like it doesn't happen; No matter what, you have to be careful. Another problem is that an extra fee is requested per baggage. If you have a problem limiting your luggage during your travels, taking a taxi may cost extra. However, with an application introduced There is a standard price for taxi transportation between CDG Airport and Paris center. If you are going somewhere in the periphery of Paris, that is, if the postal code of the address you are going to starts with 75, Seine RiverFor addresses on the south side of 35€, for addresses on the north side 41€ You will only need to pay a fixed price. Taxi prices for other regions vary. For example Europe's largest Financial Center Paris La Defenseto go to 40-55 € between, Disneylandto go to 75-105 € You make a payment between . Detailed article about Paris taxis at this link you can read. Of course, similarly, you can benefit from Uber and similar chauffeured car services.
If you are one of those who prefer the comfort of a private chauffeur-driven vehicle for transportation from the airport to the city center, I can recommend Classe Tour, where you can receive this service in Turkish in Paris. Effortlessly, and with Classe Tour You can easily go to the address you want with your private chauffeur who speaks the same language as you. About Classe Tour You can find detailed information in my article on this link can read, Instagram pages in this link You can examine, +33 6 69 10 67 87 Whatsapp line number You can contact them via . If you say that you reached out through Pariste.Net, thanks to my cooperation with them, they will give you discounts at varying rates depending on the type of service you will receive..
4- Trams
It is also possible to get from Orly Airport to Paris city center by tram using a normal ticket. To take the T7 tram, you must be at the Orly 4 terminal side. Since the other end of this line connects to the M7 metro and is quite winding, I cannot recommend it very much. However, if you have business in those areas, it may make sense and of course, since the normal ticket is valid. 2,50€You reach the M7 metro. I haven't taken the tram from there for a long time, but I think NavigoEasy If your card is used on this tram, then the amount you have to pay is even lower. Thus, I have to say that it is the most economical solution to go to the city - no matter how long it takes. T7+ from the airport Metro 7 island OperaYou can reach it in about 1,5 - 2 hours, but I do not recommend it unless you have to save money. Navigo Week your card or Paris Visite If you have a ticket, then you can take the tram for free, but I think you will use your free transportation right in favor of the metro.
5- City Bus
Number 183 municipal bus you RER-CIt takes you to , and then you can go to the city center with RER-C. The fare for this bus is based on the 1-4 zone ticket price, and cards covering zone 1-4 are also valid, but since this option will cause a lot of time loss, it can only be considered as a last resort for those who have to split their hair and make excessive budget calculations... Again also Let's note that the 183 bus + RER-C ticket price is 6,40€.
If you are coming to Paris at night or early in the morning, RER, RoissyBus and normal municipal bus If you do not want to pay a lot of money for a taxi, you should use night buses. By scanning a double ticket at the airport It is possible to go to the city center. Navigo and other transportation cards are also accepted. Detailed information Noctilien – Night Buses You can find it in the article.
Of course also car rental There is a choice… Although Driving in Paris As I tried to point out in my article I do not recommend driving in Paris city center. loves Giverny, Deauville & Trouville, The Mont Saint Michel ve Loire Valley Castles comic If you are thinking of seeing the beautiful places around Paris, then of course renting a car is the ideal solution.
Those who want to get more detailed information about the transportation options between Orly Airport and Paris city center can access all the articles I have prepared from the relevant links in this article... General information about the airport can be found in the official web page link at the end of the article.
I go to Paris for business, especially Parc des Expositions-Villepinte / Villepinte Fair CenterIf you are coming for a fair in , I would like to remind you that this airport is in a slightly opposite location. Of course, in any case, there is a public transportation solution to reach anywhere in Paris.
Oh, and lastly, I should add this information: Already You don't need anyone, including me, to discover how to get from one place to another in Paris and its surroundings. When you type the addresses of departure and arrival points into the map application on your mobile phone, it offers you the most suitable options according to that day and time. Of course, don't do everything the application tells you. Those who study Pariste.Net and study well can easily find which one is the most ideal among the options offered.. But I beg you, don't ask me either; Because when you ask me, I go into those applications and look; It is not possible for me to know every place by heart. 😉
After all, transferring between Paris city center and Orly Airport is not as difficult as you think and there is definitely an option suitable for you. Now that you have solved the transportation issue, Where to Stay in Paris? Things to Consider When Choosing a Hotel ve One Week in Paris If you read my articles, you will solve most of the problem 😉
As long as you want to come and visit Paris...
Pleasant trips, pleasant discoveries…

Hello Mr. Ahmet,
Your site and this article are very informative.
Is RER-C suitable for Eiffel and Invalides side from Orly 4? Google Maps suggests C, but I wasn't sure when I read your article. I would be very happy if you could comment.
Thank you.
Hello Mr. Emre,
RER-C is not a very cute line, but of course it is one of the solutions. I generally recommend OrlyBus + M6 metro to go from Orly to the Eiffel side, but the method you mentioned is also possible.
Mr Ahmet,
During our December 2021 trip to Paris, Pegasus was using Orly 4. As soon as we landed, it was very easy to get a Navigo card and go to the city center with Orly Bus.
Thank you for the enlightening article :)
Yours
b.
It's good news that Pegasus uses Orly 4, at least in terms of ease of purchasing Navigo. Thank you very much for informing.
Hello Mr. Ahmet,
First of all, thank you very much for the information you provided. It was a very useful information sharing.
My wife and I have a Paris holiday planned for June. We will pass through Brussels, come to Paris on Thursday and return on Sunday.
Our flight leaves Orly airport at 07:00 on Sunday. I wonder what route we need to follow to reach this time.
Would you recommend us to stay in a hotel close to Orly airport on the last day of our stay?
Thank you in advance.
Have a nice day.
Hello Fatih,
Considering that you have to be at the airport at 7 am for the flight at 5 am, you have to leave around 4 am, at which time there is no other option for public transportation other than the night bus. If it were me, I wouldn't take that risk, because the flights are very infrequent. See: https://www.pariste.net/pariste-ulasim-15-noctilien-gece-otobusleri/
Staying at the airport on the last night may be a solution, or it seems more comfortable to reach the airport from the hotel you normally stay in in the morning by taxi or using other private chauffeured car services.
Happy Days.
Hello Mr. Ahmet,
I hope you are fine. I will be in Paris in 2 days and unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to do detailed research beforehand. The interesting thing is that I am attempting such a thing alone and without knowing the language :) That's why, frankly, I'm feeling a sense of fear. I go completely spontaneously. Therefore, can I ask you how I can go from Orly to Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile Hotel? If you can help me, I will relieve my fear a little. Otherwise I will cancel my ticket etc. at the last minute :)) Thank you very much in advance
Hello Ms. Sinem, I have received so many messages and comments lately that for some reason I missed this message of yours. Please don't mind me. I hope you had a trouble-free holiday in Paris.
Hello Mr. Ahmet,
It's easy to go from Orly Ouest to Orly Sud using OrlyVal, right?
I wanted to ask because it's my first time.
Thank you so much,
Happy Days :)
Hello Ms. Mehtap,
Going between terminals in Orly is very easy with OrlyVal. There are just a few details you need to pay attention to. You can find those details in my article at this link: https://www.pariste.net/pariste-ulasim-13-orlyval/
Also, if you are going to Orly Sud to buy Navigo, in today's Instagram instalive live broadcast, a viewer said that there is no Navigo counter in Orly Sud anymore. When I received such a comment before, I went and checked it myself at the first opportunity, the ticket office was still there, but I have been sick for about a month; so this time, as soon as I feel better, I will go and check again; for your information.
Happy Days.
Hello Mr. Ahmet, first of all, thank you very much for the information you provided. We planned a trip to Paris in February with my wife and 1-year-old child. First of all, I was encouraged by your other articles and decided to go with my 1-year-old child in February (February because of my wife's birthday). I noticed it a little late, but as you said, I clicked on your booking page and added it to my favorites. Now, first of all, I made a reservation at Citizen Me in Gare de Lyon because it is a 4-star hotel. I planned to buy navigo. Honestly, I don't want to pay Orlyval again. In my research, I saw that there were many complaints about the Orlybus being too crowded. There seems to be a nighttime N131 bus line between Orly Airport and Gare de Lyon. Is there a daytime alternative? Otherwise, you mentioned RER-C very little, but I can get off very close to the hotel with it. Wouldn't it make more sense for me?
have a nice day
Of course, in this article I am trying to explain ways to get to the center of Paris. If your hotel is on the Gare de Lyon side and you prefer to get off the RER-C and walk, of course the RER will be suitable for you.
The public bus number 183 takes you to the M7 metro line, but I didn't know how cute it would be to go that long way with a child by normal public bus.
Happy Days
If we buy a pass visit from Orly airport, can we take the Orly bus and then RER B for free and go to Disneyland the next day?
If you buy a 1-day Paris Visite, you can go to your hotel without paying any additional fee, but you cannot use it the next day as its validity expires at midnight.
Hello, thanks to your articles, we had a very comfortable 6 days in Paris. We are staying in a hotel on the 6th metro line. We will return to Istanbul from Orly tomorrow at 17. You have stated that the municipal bus will take 1.5 hours from the metro. I'm a little worried because I've never seen it. Is this the most practical?
Hello,
I'm so glad you had a nice holiday in Paris.
In general, you should consider the total transportation time from the hotel gate to the airport gate to be (approximately) 1,5 hours. Otherwise, OrlyBus can take (approximately) 30-40 minutes, of course this time may vary depending on traffic.
It is not possible for me to name a single method as "the most practical", because in fact the most practical is perhaps the RER + OrlyVal option, but the Navigo card is not valid there either. If you want to go with your Navigo, yes, the most practical option seems to be RER + OrlyBus.
I wish you a good trip.
Yours truly is a great service to the Turks! I'm coming today, thanks to you, I planned every detail and I already feel very safe. What can I say, I'm glad to have you, I'm glad you wrote these!
Thank you very much, I hope you have a great time in Paris. I wish you a happy holiday in advance…
Hello Mr. Ahmet, thank you very much for the information you provided, it was a great information sharing. Another transportation option I want to ask you about is the air france bus service option. I will be getting off at Orly Sud and using this service seems to be the most comfortable for now. I would be very grateful if you could give me information, thank you in advance.
Hello, the Air France service is now called Le Bus Direct and I tried to give details about it in the article above: With this shuttle service, you can reach the Arc de Triomphe via Montparnasse and Invalides. Ticket price starts from 12€. You can access detailed and up-to-date information from the link in the article above. Happy Days.
Mr Ahmet . Last week, I used both a Paris minibus and a taxi for Orly. I made a reservation thinking that the Paris minibus would cost 80 euros round trip, but when we paid 80 euros one way, we made the return trip from the taxi stand in front of Maubert-mutualite station. We paid 3 euros for 3 people with 30 large suitcases. We think the taxi driver made a mistake, but this is really what we paid. For those with extra luggage, taxi is the most economical, quick and comfortable way to travel. Our 50 euros remained in our pocket. Best regards, BENAN
Thank you Mr. Ahmet for the very useful information. I had a question for you; I have a flight from Charles de Gaulle airport to Venice at 9:00. I will stay in a hotel on top of Montmart. I wonder if I can catch the plane if I go by metro. I have to leave at 6:00 in order to be at the airport a few hours in advance. I wonder if the metros operate at that time.
Hello Mr. Selim, first of all, thank you very much. RER-B from Gare du Nord to Charles de Gaulle Airport operates at that time, but you will need to take a night bus to reach the station at that time or you can also go to the station by taxi. Your hotel will assist you with this.
Good trips
Mr. Ahmet, first of all, thank you for your efforts. A very useful blog. Everyone has written about going to the city center from Orly, but we will do the Alsace Tour and finally come to Paris via Strasbourg, so our return will be by plane. From Orly. If we go to Denfert-Rochereau station from the city to Orly, can we use 'OrlyBus' from there? How much difference does T7-M7 make in terms of time? How many hours before the flight do you think we should be at Denfert-Rochereau or the M7 stop? Thanks.
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your nice comment.
You can easily reach Orly airport from Denfert-Rochereau with OrlyBus. The only risk is the traffic situation. Therefore, it is not possible for me to say an exact time, but since you need to be at the airport at least two hours before your flight, I recommend that you be in Denfert-Rochereau at least 45-60 minutes before.
There is always the T7+M7 option, but I personally do not prefer it at all, it seems endless to me. I think the total of these two will take around 80-90 minutes.
Happy Days.
Hello Mr. Ahmet, first of all, I would like to say that your site is very useful. Thanks to you, my self-confidence has increased :) For the first time, I had hesitations about coming to Paris. I want to ask this; Maybe you explained it in a title, but I didn't see it. When we buy a Navigo card, it is valid for Orlybus, but not for ORLYVAL, right. We can buy a separate one-way ticket for ORLYVAL and use our Navigo while getting off the RER or Metro after getting off? Thank you from now.
Hello Ms. Semra,
First of all, thank you very much for your valuable comment. Since the Navigo topic is very detailed, I published it as a separate article title. You can access it from the link above.
Just as you said, Navigo is valid on OrlyBus, but not on OrlyVal. If you want to use OrlyVal, you can buy a one-way ticket and continue from Anthony RER station with your Navigo card.
Happy Days
Hello, first of all, thank you for your useful shares :)
I will be in Paris for 2 days in January (Orly Airport)
I want to go to the city from the airport by Orlybus. Where do you think I should get off? I want to get off in a central place, near the Louvre Museum, Champs Elysees or Eiffel. And should I use zone 1 for these days? And which ticket type do you recommend? Also, the next day, around 11 in the evening, my bus to Amsterdam will depart from Porte Maillot. The distances seem close on the map, but what would you recommend? Thanks in advance :)
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your message and comment.
If you are going to land in Orly, you will take the OrlyBus and get off at Denfert-Rochereau. Where you go next depends entirely on where your hotel is. If you want to go to Eiffel from here, you just need to take metro line 6 towards Etoile and get off at Bir-Hakeim station, but Eiffel is not the city center. Therefore, it is very difficult for me to answer your question.
Many important tourist areas are located in zone 1.
I think you should read the OrlyBus article, then take a look at the Tickets and Transportation cards article.
You will buy a separate ticket for OrlyBus, then a 10 carnet ticket will do the trick. Details of all these topics I mentioned are available separately on the blog.
Distances are extremely close and accessible, so don't worry.
Have a nice holiday in advance.
Hello, my hotel has written a description. The first step says "From Orly to RER C with ADP shuttle". Which of the things you described is this shuttle? I think I need to buy a card or ticket accordingly...
Hello,
As I understand it, since your hotel is in the south or southeast of Paris, your hotel suggested that you take the ADP shuttle to Pont de Rungis station of the RER-C. When you arrive at Orly Sud, you can take exit F and reach where this shuttle leaves. As far as I know, the ticket price is 2,5€ and you can buy it from the bus driver. Have a nice holiday.
Hello Mr. Ahmet, thank you very much for your work :) We will be at Orly Airport on Saturday at half past 4. The place we will stay is very close to Gare du Nord and especially Gare de Lest. What is the best way you can recommend for transfer? We will stay for 2 nights, on Monday morning, from Gare du Nord to Brussels. We will pass by train, thank you in advance :)
Hello,
At first, thank you for your interest.
If you want to use public transportation, you must first take the OrlyBus from Orly to come to Denfert-Rochereau. From here, you can take the RER-B directly to Gare du Nord.
Happy Days.
Hello Mr. Ahmet,
I will come to Paris with my wife this Sunday (20.03.2016). Yours has been one of the sites we have visited most for months :) First of all, I would like to thank you for creating a blog with such useful and abundant content and for continuing to actively contribute content. So much so that you have a blog that would be useful even to Parisians if the site had a French option :)
As I said, I have been researching for months and I think I found a way to get to the center easily and cheaply from Orly Airport. If I'm wrong, please correct me so we don't have any problems :)
First of all, we take the T7 tram from Orly and get off at the last stop, Villejuif-Louis Aragon. From there we transfer to the M7 metro line. Since the hotel I will be staying at is close to Chaussee d'Antin (La Fayette) station, I will get off there. Those who will use this line can check the stations here: http://www.ratp.fr/informer/pdf/orienter/f_plan.php?nompdf=m7
Hello, thank you very much for your comment. I tried to mention T7 in the article. It is a very long and winding line and it takes quite a long time, but as you said, it is the most economical way to get to the center.
Thanks again…
Greetings
First of all, thank you for your nice comment.
To go from CDG to Orly, you will first take RER B. If you wish, you can get off at Denfert Rochereau station and transfer to OrlyBus, or you can get off at Antony and transfer to OrlyVal. Both options will get you to Orly. OrlyVal is more hassle-free than OrlyBus, but it is a little more expensive. The choice is yours.
Have a nice trip in advance.
Hello Mr. Ahmed
Your article is great. As someone who will go to France for the first time, there is something I want to learn. I would be glad if you could help me. I will go to Strasbourg, but my flight is connecting and is as follows: Istanbul - Charles De Gaulle orly - Strasbourg. How can I easily get from Charles De Gaulle airport to Orly airport? Thanks in advance.
Hello Mr. Ahmet,
First of all, what you wrote is very important for someone who will come to Paris for the first time, well done. I am sure that I will recommend this site, which I discovered by chance while doing research, to all my friends who will go to Paris.
I have read all your articles about transportation, but there is still something I cannot decide. We will come to Orly Airport from Istanbul. We will stay at the “Hotel Saint Petersbourg Opera” hotel in the Opera area. Although there are buses that come directly from Charle de Gaulle airport to the opera square, I think we do not have such a chance at Orly airport. Considering that we will be coming as two people for 4 nights, time is important to us. When I read on the internet that there are no escalators or elevators in the subways and that the suitcases are carried by hand, I was a little afraid of this alternative - which seemed like a bit of a pain considering that it would be a transfer with Orlybus. My question to you is how much does it cost by taxi to the airport or should we use the Paris Dolmus directly? What are your suggestions
Thank you in advance for your reply…
Hello,
First of all, thank you for your valuable comment.
Yes, as you said, you cannot reach Opera directly from Orly by public transportation. First, you will take the Orly Bus to reach Denfert Rochereau, from there you will take the RER B, transfer at Chatelet Les Halles and get off at Auber. Your hotel is close to the Auber RER station. I think this trip costs around 9€ per person. Of course, if you have a load and do not want to drag your suitcases on public transportation, I always recommend the Paris Minibus, but if you need to save money, the public transportation option is always possible. If I'm not mistaken, Taxi and Paris Minibus will stay in the same vicinity. Ultimately, you need to decide for yourself based on your purpose for coming to Paris, your budget, economic preferences and priorities.
Have a nice holiday in advance.
Hello Mr. Ahmet, first of all, thank you for this meticulous work.
We will land in Orly. From there we will go to the city center. It will also be on our Disneyland trip. Therefore, we will go out of zone 1 a lot. What type of ticket would you recommend we buy from Orly as soon as we land for this 5-day trip? Thank you in advance…
Hello,
After the recent changes in transportation pricing, I recommend many people to buy Weekly Navigo Découverte, but there are some issues that need to be taken into consideration. For example, which days your arrival and departure dates fall, etc. For the option that suits you https://www.pariste.net/pariste-ulasim-8-biletler-ve-ulasim-kartlari/ I recommend you read the article in the link. If you still have questions after reading, I'm here :)
I am preparing a separate article for the Navigo card to be published very soon…
Happy Days
Hello there
Thanks a lot. Can I get my Navigo Card from Orly immediately?
Isn't it enough to select weekly from the machine?
I took a picture with me, other than that there's nothing special, right?
Thank you
Finally, I can use Navigo Découverte when going to places like Disneyland, etc., that is, not on the Metro but also on the RER, right? I want to take it from the field and use it directly with OrlyBus. Thank you very much for all your support...
Hello again,
As I tried to mention in the article in the link, you can get your card from airports, train stations and many stations and use it immediately. The only thing you need to remember is that the card is valid from Monday to Sunday. You cannot top up your card on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Your card is valid unlimitedly everywhere within zones 1-5, that is, except OrlyVal. I am preparing a separate and detailed article about Navigo Decouverte specifically for this card. It will be published within 1 week and 10 days.
Happy Days
If I buy Paris Visite at Orly airport, can I get to the center for free or do I need to buy a ticket again?
Hello there
As I tried to explain in detail in the Paris Visite article, when you buy Paris Visite, you do not need to pay an extra fee for public transportation, you can use all of them unlimitedly.
