(Last Update: 29.01.2025) I always say: There is definitely a place to visit and see in Paris for every taste, every student and every person. I don't know who would be interested in this kind of place, but today I would like to share a very interesting store with you: St. Peter's Market (Marche San Pierre or magşe san pieğ)
This is 18. borough'in, Montmartre on the outskirts, Square Louise Michel Park ve La Halle Saint-Pierreright next to, tiny, tiny, tiny thousands of different fabrics It's a very nice store to find. From small pieces of fabric to metres, From silk to satin, from linen to velvet It is actually a colorful "storey store" where you can find all kinds of fabrics, with thousands of varieties that I don't know the name of.
This is a blessing for someone like me, who cannot help but touch the clothes he likes in all the clothing stores he visits. Because I can spend a lot of time examining the patterns of thousands of kinds of textile products and touching their fabrics.

When we first discovered this place, we were very happy to see that it was a "whatever you are looking for" kind of place. A few months later, when my dear friend Hayruş came to visit us in Paris, we went to the Marché Saint-Pierre with him, and that's when I realized his real value: Because he is a true "patchworkBecause he was crazy about this, he was very open-minded here. In my own way, I was happy to show such a place to my guest :) In fact, this little detail is part of my book. A Week in ParisIt also passes in 😉
I don't know, do you like fabrics too? If you are interested in the patterns, colors and textures, I can recommend you to visit this place. Of course, there is no need to come here to discover this special place. One Montmartre ve Sacré Coeur on your trip, La Halle Saint-PierreAfter taking a coffee break at , I think you'll enjoy it if you enter the Marché Saint-Pierre right behind and wander around the floors. Maybe you live in Paris and need fabric; Then this is the place for you.
Although there are other places like this left and right, I like Marché Saint-Pierre the most. When I enter, I find myself in a place more like Mahmutpaşa or even old Beyoğlu, but mostly surrounded by old and polite old Paris ladies; I experience a very different atmosphere and of course the beautiful fabrics fascinate me. So much so that even the safes located on each floor are nostalgic in their own way. You feel like you are shopping from those old Armenian-Greek shopkeepers of old Istanbul...

MontmartreAs if coming to M2 metro of the line Antwerp When you get off at the stop and walk up the hill opposite, you will see the carousel at the top of the hill, Square Louise-Michel ParkYou can reach here by turning right from . As I said, before La Halle Saint-Pierre appears in front of you, and right behind it is the Marché Saint-Pierre.
Your trip to Montmartre will make you have a nice day in itself; I think there would be an extra change if you squeeze this in between. of here Open every day between 10:00-18:30 except Sunday Please also remember that it is.
