(Last Update: 30.01.2025) There are so many things to do in Paris as well as in its immediate surroundings that one gets confused which one to prioritize. For example, you don't have to go far to see spring flowers or autumn leaves, Le Vésinet – Le Pecq It is so easy to reach a place like this, this little paradise, and it is so enjoyable to wander around here.

The Vésinet (lö meter) - Le Pecq (lol) which is actually the same administrative center as Paris Ile-de-FranceThey are two separate communes connected to , but I did not want to write two separate articles about these two. Because what primarily interests us in this article is neither the history of these two communes nor anything else. We will introduce you to Le Vésinet – Le Pecq in this article. A wonderful nature walk We will go there to wander around the heavenly gardens, dream while looking at the glass mansions, breathe in the clean air, that is, to have a wonderful day.

Only 20 kilometers from the center of Paris distance to Le Vésinet – Le Pecq RER-A Champs-Elyseesjust from You can reach it in 20 minutes.. How should I put it, it's like getting on the train from Haydarpaşa and getting off at Kartal; I mean, it's not like going out of the city, but you won't believe your eyes when you get off the train and see the magnificent nature and the magnificent neighborhood you enter.

Champs-Elyseesfrom, from Auber, Châteletfrom or RER-A When you get on the train from another station on what you need to pay attention to thing, Saint-Germain-en-Laye you should use a line going in the direction of the train; Le Vésinet – Le Pecq You should pay attention to whether it stops at the station or not. One stop before Le Vésinet – Center There is a station; although you can start your tour from there, but in order not to miss the magnificent beauties, the route I will suggest to you seems like we should start our tour by getting off at Le Vésinet – Le Pecq station - I think it is up to you to decide.

The station is a simple building. There is a pond right below, but do not go there, be a little patient :) If we turn our face to the direction where the train continues, we will go to the part on the right. Exit the station accordingly and walk to the right as soon as you exit. Here, on the left, you will come to a place with greenery in the middle and roads on both sides. Strangely, there is no sidewalk here, but you take that road and continue walking up the road like everyone else. As you move among the beautiful houses, you will soon come across a wonderful pond. Grand Lac des Ibis will come out.

First, we will take a short tour around this pond. If you want to get detailed information about this place Grand Lac des Ibis You can read my article. Always "Go in whichever direction you want to go, good things will definitely happen to you.You know what I say, and what I say is true, but this time in order not to miss the surprises at Le Vésinet – Le Pecq. to follow the route I have drawn for you. I will ask. That's why it's important to go back to the station after going around the lake, because there's so much more to see.

The second magical part of the trip begins when you enter the station and reach the pond on the other side of the underpass. When you turn your back to the railway station and your face to the pond, first from the right side, so you have to go around the road and get to the other side of the pond. You will proceed along the street you pass, watching the dreamlike houses, some big and some small, but all located in huge and lush gardens. When you pass the back of the pond and reach the end of the street, you will cross a magnificent bridge, and I believe that you will dive into your dreams by watching the leaves playing in the water left and right.

We saw so many beautiful things, but our surprise trip has not started yet! At the end of the street, you will reach a main street. Cross this street and start walking to the left. You will see a waterway just ahead on the right. At work Don't miss this place. Yes, from here on out a long canal walk It's waiting for you, you won't believe what you'll see next.

to Le Vésinet Artificial ponds and canals at the beginning of the 20th century A heavenly track was created. Those living in Le Vésinet or Le Pecq, as well as those coming from Paris, take a dreamy walk, alone with nature, on this track, especially on weekends. It is an incredible place, full of elegance and sophistication, young and old, children and children, sometimes narrowing, sometimes expanding, sometimes shaded by trees, sometimes cheered by the blue sky, but always surrounded by dreamy houses. How should I say, in Istanbul Kemer Country Think of it as if it was built a hundred years ago and you could walk around all the neighborhoods. No no, it's much more beautiful 😉

Sometimes the canal intersects with other streets, sometimes it seems to end, but do not worry, it continues somewhere on the right or left. Also A very important issue that you should pay attention to Yes: Yes, there are various bridges on this canal, but at some points, instead of bridges, stones are laid in the middle of the water at intervals. You may have to cross the stones to the other shore.. Don't be intimidated, it's not that difficult, since even old people can jump over those stones like a partridge, you can do it too :)

Of course, this track is not endless, after walking for a while, the canal splits into two. I suggest you go left, and if you continue like this, you will find yourself at the pond near the “Le Vésinet – Centre” station I mentioned before, that is, Lac de CroissyThe track ends at . The more you walk, the more you walk, there is a lot to see, but the canal walk section ends at this point. When you go around the pond you reach and reach the street towards the railway, walk to the left, pass under the bridge, and after a few meters, turn to the right.Le Vésinet – CenterYou will see the ” station.

If you wish, here RERYou can return to Paris, and if you wish and are still in the mood, you can take a stroll around the center of Le Vésinet. The center of Le Vésinet is a small and cozy place. While it might seem like a cute village at any other time, after this delightful nature walk you feel like you've come to the city center :)

The place I call the center is already small, and on Sundays it is very quiet. Especially in these situations, food can be a bit troublesome. Especially the Most restaurants do not work on Sundays and their service hours are limited on other days. Considering that, instead of trying your luck, I suggest you prepare your sandwich and drink before coming here, and satisfy your hunger by having a mini picnic on a bench you like or on the grass if the weather is suitable.

Le Pecq center is Seine River It is adjacent to Le Vésinet on one side and Saint Germain en Laye on the other side. As I said, since this trip will be more of a nature walk than a city tour, I don't think you need to go to those places, but still, you know. I recommend this place for hiking rather than city trips, but there is also a huge place in Saint Germain en Laye. Saint Germain's Laye Park ve Saint Germain's Laye Forest But it's a pity for you too; Which one will you visit :)

These places are so beautiful that people always want to wander around here, even settling here seems like the best thing to do, but there are so many beautiful places that you don't know which one you will live in :) Especially the houses are so beautiful that even if you have a lot of money, you have to decide which one to buy. Let's say you bought it, which one will you sit in? If you buy one, your mind will be on the other, if you sleep in one, you will worry about why you didn't sleep in the other. So it's best if we just visit these places and return with good memories 😉

Do not give the impression that Le Vésinet – Le Pecq is a park or garden from what I have written and the photos, this is a residential area as you know and the elite part of the city lives in this suburb, but what a living. Yes your houses several million euros It's obvious that it's worth a lot, but there are generally modest cars on its doorstep. One might think that this place is a retirement paradise, but when I looked at the statistics, it is not like that, it has a very young and middle-aged population. People live happily and peacefully in these heavenly places. No high garden walls, no barbed wire; that's right...

If you love nature, architecture, silence, fresh air and peace, and if you have a day to spare for the surroundings of Paris, you can devote a day or at least half a day to Le Vésinet – Le Pecq. around paris Maisons-Laffitte like, like Saint Germain en Laye, Enghien Les Bains Of course, there are other places like this, but it seems like this is Opportunity for nature walks in the residence area in terms of and private canal walk advantage It seems like it might be more preferable because of that?
And every place I introduce most beautiful I keep implying that it is, but it's not my fault, it's the fault of those who created, protected and kept these magnificent lands alive :) If you wish, you can take a look at the places that can be seen in the surrounding area from the links below; One wonders which one to spend time with...
Pleasant trips, pleasant discoveries.

A place we discovered again and again, thanks to you. It might be one of the most peaceful places I've ever been to in my life. It is really fun to walk on the route you described, to look at those magnificent houses with our mouths open :), and to jump and jump over the stones. I'm glad we have this blog, now we've changed our route to Mont St Michel and St Malo, after consulting your blog of course 😉
A little advice: It would be great to have a picnic on this route, and it is also ideal for a cycling tour.
Thank you very much for your comment, Ms. Esma… It is also my dream to cycle around here. There are so many things to do in Paris and its surroundings that one wonders which one to do :)
