(Last Update: 07.09.2024) We are once again in one of the liveliest and liveliest centers of Paris. This time, our stop is Grands Boulevards, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris…
Grands Boulevards (grand boulevard or ggan bulvag) literally means "big boulevards" and one inevitably thinks of a place where many big boulevards intersect, or at least metro You expect the name of the street where the station is located to be named like this, but it is not.
Like many other parts of Paris, this is a district with a large main street, rows of buildings with typical Parisian architecture, and restaurants, cafes, boutiques and shops. What makes Grands Boulevards a little more privileged, in my opinion, is that the dynamism of life here is a little different. The energy you feel on the street seems a little more cosmopolitan, a little more like us. People seem a little more relaxed, a little more enthusiastic, a little more hasty.
Another feature that makes Grands Boulevards special is beautiful passages. Especially Panoramas Passage, Jouffroy Passage ve Verdeau Passage The passages are worth seeing. Famous wax statue museum Musee Grevin is also located here. First Hard Rock Cafe The area is very lively, with many restaurants, cafes and bars, including: My favorite restaurant in the area Victoria Station... Panoramas PassageThe creperie shops in are also successful.
Oh, and there's usually a queue at the door. The Bouillon Chartier There is, if you want to dine in a pleasant atmosphere… A little further on, I think many of you will be interested in Freemasonry Museum – Musée de la Franc-Maçonnerie there.
9. boroughAnother reason why I particularly like Grands Boulevards in Paris is that when I came to Paris for the first time in my life, I found a modest and charming hotel here. Hotel of SpainActually, I stayed in . Of course, you can stay at other hotels in this area with peace of mind. The first things that come to my mind are; Corona, Leman, comedies ve Holiday Inn it could be. For options in other regions Where to Stay in Paris I recommend you read the article.
Long before settling in Paris, on that first day as a tourist, as soon as I checked into the hotel and threw myself out. metro I remember like it was yesterday when I went up to the station and saw the liveliness on the street and said "I'm in Paris". Whenever I pass by these places, that moment comes to my mind.
When you face O'Sullivans near the Grands Boulevards metro station, the area where the activity continues is on your right, on Boulevard Montmartre. If you want to walk on Boulevard Poissonnière on the left, you can still find something to suit your taste; especially on the right side of the road King of Pop There is a very shabby shop. It used to be shabby and cute, now it's shabby and cheesy :)
A little further away is the famous movie theater. Grand Rex waiting for you. That area has become very active and revitalized, especially recently; It's lively in the evenings. If you're willing to take a little longer, you can visit one of the interesting corners of Paris. Turkish QuarterYou will reach .
If you walk towards Boulevard Montmartre, it's on the left. Victoria Station RestaurantYou will see, if you enter the door right next to it Panoramas PassageYou are in . Right across this passage Jouffroy Passage there is. Both are beautiful. jouffroyWax museum on the right at the entrance of Musee GrevinYou will see .
If you continue a little further, on the right Hard Rock Cafe will appear before you. If you continue straight without deviating from there Galeries Lafayette ve SpringYou can reach the area where , but I don't know if you want such a long walk. If you're interested in the passages, behind Jouffroy Verdeau Passage I would also like to point out that it is.
For me, the Grands Boulevards area is Richelieu – Drouot and Bonne Nouvelle metro The area between the stations. Even if you only tour this part, it is enough.
Actually, I usually walk OperaI prefer to start at and end at Grands Boulevards; Thus, I can encounter many things worth seeing and attracting attention along the way. As I always say, keep your eyes peeled, and if you come across any of the large doors of the buildings open, do not forget to enter their inner courtyards.
Of course, there will be many other passages on your way, many of which I believe you will enjoy. You can sit and relax wherever you want, have a coffee or a snack. Just sitting and watching people passing by on the street is a pleasure in itself.
If you go south from Grands Boulevards, on the road Paris Stock Exchangeyou can see, Place des Victoirescan pass through, Choiseul Passage, Colbert Passage ve Vivienne Galleryvisit and Palais RoyalYou can relax in the garden of . after that Louvre Museum ve Tuileries Garden already. His back too Seine River and even further Saint Germain sides. There is no end or limit to wandering around Paris...
Not by walking here metro If you come with M8 ve M9 All you have to do is get off at the "Grands Boulevards" station of the lines... You are now in the middle of life; So what are you waiting for, get involved in life...
Pleasant trips, pleasant discoveries.

Hello Ahmed,
We are planning to implement the exact program in your article for 3 nights and 4 days in May. How can we reach Grands Boulevards from CDG? After landing, we will take Navigo. The airport is in zone 5, I wonder which zone is the hotel in? Additionally, can we easily reach the locations mentioned in the 3 nights 4 days article from Grands Boulevards?
We subscribed to your YouTube channel. We would like to support you by making hotel reservations on your website.
Thank you in advance.
Hello,
To go from CDG to Grands Boulevards by public transport, you must first take the RER-B to Gare du Nord, then transfer to the M4 metro and get off at Strasbourg-Saint Denis station. From here, you can reach Grands Boulevards station by taking the M8 or M9 metro.
Grands Boulevards is an ideal location for my 3 Nights 4 Days tour program suggestion. Reaching Trocadero on the first day with the M9 metro will be a very easy and good start, and you can easily reach everywhere on the other days.
Also thank you very much for your support.
Happy Days.
A very nice blog. I also follow your vlog. Thank you for your hands and efforts. Thanks to you, I loved it before I went to Paris. With any luck, my wife and I will stay at the Hotel des Comedies on the Grands Boulevards route next week. (We chose this hotel with your recommendation :) I wonder how we can easily reach the hotel from CGD airport by public transportation? If you can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Which hotel did you stay in in this area? How would it be to stay somewhere here in terms of location?
I stayed in this hotel:
