(Last Update: 03.06.2025) One night of May every year in Europe European Night of Museums – La Nuit Européenne des Musées It is celebrated as. As part of this event, many museums, galleries and cultural centers all over Europe open their doors to visitors free of charge after a certain time in the evening. These places can be visited free of charge until 11, 12 and 1 at night. In addition, free events, concerts and shows are organized in some venues.

Last May 17 2025 The event took place on 2026 program As of the last update of this article, it has not yet been announced.

In the list below, in and around Paris, European Night of Museums You can find a few of the museums that are open and can be visited free of charge, which I have previously included on the blog and tried to share detailed information with:

European Night of Museums - La Nuit Européenne des Musées 2018

European Night of Museums - La Nuit Européenne des Musées 2018

Of course, the museums you can visit for free in Paris and its surroundings as part of the European Night of Museums are not limited to these. You can review the detailed list from the official web page link below.

Of course, there may be long queues in front of some museums, but I think you can enter very easily if you try your luck in places that are not very popular. Still, even if there are queues in many museums, they are all worth visiting individually, believe me. After all, the pleasure of enjoying a museum at night in Paris is different... Oh, and among them There may be museums that require reservations But since the list of those museums is constantly changing, I cannot follow them either. Now research that part of the job and you will find it...

Pleasant trips, pleasant discoveries.

  1. I think visiting a museum at night is a great idea, so that more time can be spent visiting the streets, cafes and surroundings of Paris during the day. Since the interiors of most museums are dim due to the architecture and magnificence of the age, they can be visited during the day thanks to the lighting, thus saving both money and time. :)))
