(Last Update: 21.03.2023 – CLOSED) Let's say Madeleine Opera You are somewhere in between and you are hungry. You are looking for a nice place to eat. You've been in Paris for a few days and this time parisian You can try something that doesn't exist. You want a different place, but you also want it to be affordable. Here is one of the places that can meet your demands: American Dream Restaurant...
“We're in Paris, what are we doing in an American restaurant?” Don't say. Paris is a world metropolis with a wide range of restaurants offering interesting options from all corners of the world cuisine. For this reason, American Dream Restaurant is one of the interesting and pleasant places to eat and drink in Paris. Moreover, although it looks like an American restaurant in terms of design and brand, American Dream's menu also includes examples of Mexican, Japanese and Italian cuisine.
So you come to Paris and Hard Rock CafeAs special as going to is, taking a delicious break at American Dream Restaurant can be just as enjoyable. Actually, I think the menu and atmosphere are Hard Rock Cafe ParisIt is much better than , but there is such a thing as branding and in this regard Hard Rock Cafe Unfortunately, he can't fall in love with.
I've passed by this place a lot and always Irish Bar I thought Then one day we went this way; The attractive exterior of American Dream Restaurant caught our attention again. This time we decided to take a look at its cute menu and realized that it was perfect for lunch. to misbehave somewhere 🙂
Mischief I say that because if you don't eat salad, the menu usually has fried foods but wonderful things. Well, you are on holiday, eat well, after all, you will be walking a lot in Paris; You will melt it :) Of course, if you are one of those who do not compromise on health, do not worry, there is something suitable for you.
As you can see from the pictures, it has a very warm atmosphere inside. Red and yellow brass colored decoration Victoria Station RestaurantEven though it reminds me of , it is not a dim place like that place, it is a brighter and brighter place (each of them is beautiful in their own way, of course).
They will greet you with extremely warm service instead of the cold waiters you will encounter in Paris. Hard Rock Cafe A waiter greets you in style and takes you to your seat. I think it will take you a long time to examine the place, decoration and details, because the sky and the ground are full of different objects, as if Like Rahmi Koç Museum mess.
Especially the bar part jingling It has a sparkle that is particularly inviting and makes one want to come here another time just to sit at the bar and have a drink. But the time never comes; There are so many places to go to eat and drink in Paris.
The menus, especially the formulas, are extremely affordable. You can have a very satisfying lunch with meat, potatoes and beer for around 10€. Moreover, their meat is much better than many other restaurants where you can eat at more expensive prices. Especially if you are a mustard lover like me, then of course you give your french fries a mustard bath, lots of it :) If you choose something other than formula, then the prices are around the Paris average, and you can pay the same amount of money for a single onion ring as you would for the formula :)
The only thing I didn't like about the place was the huge television that was always on. Sometimes it's a documentary about a Japanese swordsman, sometimes it's a boxing match, sometimes it's snapshots from a golf course... One's eyes inevitably wander there; However, I want television to have as little place in my life as possible, especially in such a beautiful place.
There is also an upper floor of the American Dream Restaurant, but it was not open for service when we went, I'm sure that floor is as lively as the one below in the evenings.
To make a long story short, one of the nice options I can recommend to you when it comes to eating and drinking is American Dream. If you happen to be there, enter the door, sit down and choose something from the menu according to your taste; Enjoy Paris and life.
Enjoy your meal…

As someone who lives in Paris, I can easily say that it is definitely a place to stay away from! The decor and idea are nice, but the management and the food are a disgrace. If you check a few more sites like Tripadvisor, I'm sure you'll agree with me. Currently, there are 13 thousand restaurants out of approximately 11 thousand. And he definitely deserves it. Let me put the Tripadvisor link here as proof! I recommend you go to places where locals go rather than tourist traps. http://www.tripadvisor.fr/Restaurant_Review-g187147-d786149-Reviews-American_Dream-Paris_Ile_de_France.html
Thank you very much for your comment; I was very surprised when I received similar comments under the photo I shared about this place on Facebook and Instagram today. I also looked at the link you posted, I think everyone thinks the same as you. Now, after all this, I would hesitate to say "you should definitely go here". But I've been here a few times and never had any problems; The cuisine is not very good, but I went because I liked the decoration of the place very much. That's why I added the warning you mentioned at the end of the article. Thanks.
Mr. Ahmet, first of all, I would like to congratulate you for this excellent blog. I can say that I learned everything from you for our trip to Paris next week. I have read many blogs about my travels and I put yours first, without any doubt. I don't think there has been a blog like this since Paris became Paris :) Thank you again for your efforts. I also have a question for you. As someone who loves eating meat, I have a hard time eating it due to my sensitivity to pork. Is there a special warning question or pattern regarding both this place and this issue in general? Can I trust the answers? Thank you very much in advance. Goodbye. Sedat Kaya
Hello Mr. Sedat,
First of all, thank you very much for your nice comment. I try to create as enlightening and rich content as I can. It also makes me happy to see that this content is useful to someone. Thank you so much.
Let's get to your question: I understand your sensitivity about pork. If you want to stay away from pork for religious reasons, you will be much more comfortable if you choose restaurants in Paris that say "halal" on the door. Because in all other restaurants (including Mc Donalds etc.) lard will also be used in the dishes. So you can't get rid of it just by not eating pork. Then you can eat more safely if you choose restaurants such as Turkish, Lebanese, Moroccan, Algerian, etc.
If just not eating pork is enough for you, that is, if it does not bother you that it contains lard, then it will be enough to stay away from dishes that contain "porc", "bacon", "lardon" while reading the menu.
When ordering, ask the waiter about a dish "Is there pork in it?" to ask "est-ce qu'il ya du porc dedans?" (eskilya dü poğk dödan?) you may ask, "Is there pork in this dish?" to ask "est-ce qu'il ya du porc dans ce plat?" Just ask (eskilya dü poğk dan sö pla?). I'd like to think you can trust the answer.
Have a nice holiday in advance
